What to expect

Your appointment starts with a quick, judgment-free conversation about anything you'd like me to know, followed by a short consent form you'll sign digitally by email. I apply the sugar paste at body temperature and remove it in the direction hair grows, which tends to feel gentler than traditional waxing. Every visit includes a ten-minute buffer afterward, so there's never a rush before or after.

After Hours is the full appointment, best for a first visit or whenever it's been a while. After Hours Maintenance is the shorter follow-up, built for clients already on a steady 3 to 4 week rhythm who just need to stay ahead of regrowth.

Beforecare

  • Let hair grow to at least a quarter inch before your appointment, hair that's too short won't grip.
  • Avoid tanning or direct sun exposure on the area for 24 hours prior.
  • Discontinue use of retinol, exfoliating acids, or other active skincare on the area 3 to 5 days prior to your service.

Aftercare

  • Avoid hot showers, saunas, and heavy sweating for 24 hours.
  • Wear loose, breathable clothing for the rest of the day.
  • Skip exfoliating or applying retinoids on the area for 2 to 3 days.
  • Light redness is normal and usually settles within a few hours.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between After Hours and After Hours Maintenance?

After Hours is the full service, best for a first visit or when it's been a while since your last one. After Hours Maintenance is a shorter appointment built for clients already on a consistent schedule, typically returning every 3 to 4 weeks.

How should I prepare?

Let hair grow to at least a quarter inch beforehand, hair that's too short won't grip. Avoid sun exposure or active skincare on the area in the days leading up to your appointment.

Does sugaring hurt less than waxing?

Many clients find sugaring more comfortable because the paste is used lukewarm and hair is removed with its natural growth direction. Comfort varies by person, and it's an especially gentle option for sensitive skin.

How often should I book?

Most clients return every 3 to 4 weeks. After Hours Maintenance is built for exactly that rhythm.
